Upsend is a website that allows its users to attempt mock technical coding interviews with Artificial Intelligence as an interviewer. There is no real human posing as an interviewer; instead, all services offered are digital.
Acceptance of Terms
By using Upsend, users agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("ToS").
Definitions
Website: The Upsend website.
Service: All digital services provided by Upsend to its users.
User: Anyone who uses the Upsend website or services.
Subscription: The paid plan users subscribe to in order to access Upsend services.
AI: Artificial Intelligence used by Upsend to conduct mock interviews.
Mock Interviews: The simulated technical coding interviews conducted by Upsend's AI.
User Obligations
Account Registration: Users must register an account to access certain features of the Service.
Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and password.
Prohibited Activities
Users are not allowed to copy questions and post them on other programming interview websites. They will not use Upsend to build or copy software that provides the same services as Upsend.
Subscription Terms
Upsend offers a fixed-rate subscription plan, with a maximum charge of $24.99 per month. Users may be required to pay additional fees if Upsend is unable to meet their usage demands, which are influenced by the overall usage patterns of all Upsend users. Additionally, Upsend reserves the right to adjust subscription rates at its discretion. The billing cycle operates on a monthly basis. Upsend accepts payments via credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB) and Cash App Pay. Services will be suspended if the user fails to renew their subscription for any billing cycle. If a user cancels their subscription, they will not be billed for the subsequent billing cycle. However, charges for the current month are non-refundable.
User Content
Any content uploaded by users is owned by Upsend. Upsend will not share user data with other legal entities without the user’s permission. Any content uploaded by users must be appropriate, civil, and in compliance with basic ethical standards, including respect for others and adherence to legal and moral guidelines. Any text, graphics, logos, etc., on the Upsend website and application are owned by Upsend. This includes any problem statements and test cases. These problems may have been inspired by various sources and experiences of the problem authors. We grant users a limited, non-exclusive license to use Upsend and its content for non-commercial uses. We do not claim ownership over any resources, articles, blogs, previews, or URLs shared from other sources; we will rightfully link them to those resources.
Privacy Policy
We collect only information provided by the user during sign-up or registration. There is no additional data collected from users without their consent. The data is stored in our secure backend and will NOT be shared with any third party without the user's consent. We will also collect usage data which will be anonymized and aggregated to improve the services provided to our users.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our website or services.
